			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Succes.png"><img class="alignright  wp-image-2198" title="Succes" src="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Succes.png" alt="" width="344" height="257" /></a>Have you ever had an &#8216;Ah-hah&#8217; moment so strong it kind of stopped you in your tracks?</p>
<p>Well, that&#8217;s exactly what happened to me last night!</p>
<p>I made a trip down to Tamp to attend the <a href="http://klwfitness.isagenix.com"><strong>Isagenix</strong></a> road show which was traveling through. I have been a user of the <strong><a href="http://klwfitness.isagenix.com" target="_blank">Isagenix</a></strong> products since Feb 2013 after being introduced by my fitness team Cathy Savage Fitness. Although I am feeling amazing, what I was most curious about was meeting others in the company &#8230; especially the leaders of the company.</p>
<p>I was literally blown away! Never have I walked into a room full of people at a conference and thought &#8220;everyone here is so fit!&#8221; Not even at personal trainer conferences had I thought that!!</p>
<p>What caught my interest most was how many fitness competitors and enthusiasts are not only using the <a href="http://klwfitness.isagenix.com" target="_blank"><strong>Isagenix</strong></a> products and raving about them, but also retiring from their jobs to share the <a href="http://klwfitness.isagenix.com" target="_blank"><strong>Isagenix</strong></a> products with others full time. Oxygen cover model, Angelike Norrie, spoke and told her story which included two different Oxygen covers of her. One taken pre baby with 9 weeks of training and nutrition prep (no Isagenix). The second cover was shot 9 months POST baby with 30 days of prep training with <a href="http://klwfitness.isagenix.com" target="_blank"><strong>Isagenix</strong></a>. The differences between those two pictures was phenomenal. Now as a fitness professional and fitness competitor &#8230; THAT got my attention!</p>
<p>This also got me thinking that I am now 5 weeks out from Fitness Universe in Miami. From here on out what I have decided to do is that I am going to experiment on myself using the <a href="http://klwfitness.isagenix.com/us/en/energyperformance.html" target="_blank"><strong>Isagenix Energy and Performance system</strong></a> the way it truly is supposed to be used and see what a difference it makes in my own physique, energy and performance levels.</p>
<p>I was so inspired by the stories of weight loss from people using these systems, but one thing that really made my ah-hah moment strong was that people are retiring from their corporate careers to help others get healthy and earning a bigger pay check then they did at their top corporate jobs!</p>
<p>So for me as a personal trainer who has had nothing but nightmare issues with gym owners trying to control my every move over the last two years, and stop me from pursuing my own dreams, THIS got my attention! As one person said, &#8220;Stop building someone else&#8217;s dream and start building your own!&#8221;</p>
<p>That&#8217;s exactly what it is time for me to start doing. My dream and passion has always been to help others better themselves and get in the best shape of their lives. That dream and passion will never change for me. I have just now been given new tools and a new vehicle to do that with.</p>
<p>To say I&#8217;m not excited would be a lie! I am so excited to start this new journey and the best part is I get to CHOOSE who I want to bring on the journey with me! What&#8217;s better than that? Doing what you love, feeling better than ever, and doing it all with people you choose to do it with.</p>
<p>You do not have to continue building someone else&#8217;s dream. Allow yourself to dream big and GO!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Fitness-New-England-Top-5.png"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-2156" title="Fitness New England Top 5" src="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Fitness-New-England-Top-5-300x201.png" alt="" width="300" height="201" /></a>Last week I arrived home from the Fitness New England Championships at Foxwoods Casino with mixed emotions after taking 4th place in the Fitness Division.</p>
<p>On one hand I was on cloud nine having had so much fun and being reunited with my Savage Team after taking more than a year off. The Savage girls and coaches are some of the most amazing women I know. I am honored to be a part of the team and also honored to share the stage with some extremely beautiful, strong and talented ladies.</p>
<p>On the other hand, I was disappointed because I knew I could have performed much better. I did not put 100% into my prep for the show. Stress from work, lack of sleep and mental fatigue I used as excuses to skip workouts as well as posing and routine practices. Things I needed to work on!</p>
<p>On the plane ride home I knew I needed to make some major changes. My job situation had to be the first thing to change. Secondly, I made the decision to document my journey for the next 7 weeks which would lead me to the Fitness Universe stage. Having to document everything would help hold me accountable.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/What-Beautiful-2.png"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-2155" title="What Beautiful #2" src="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/What-Beautiful-2-300x193.png" alt="" width="300" height="193" /></a>Like a gift from above, a few days after I returned home I received notification that I had been invited to join Under Armour&#8217;s <a title="What's Beautiful Campaign" href=" http://whatsbeautiful.ua.com/?CID=DA|FitFluential|WB3.0" target="_blank"><strong>What&#8217;s Beautiful Campaign</strong></a>. A campaign dedicated to redefining the female athlete. Perfect!</p>
<p><a title="What's Beautiful Campaign" href=" http://whatsbeautiful.ua.com/?CID=DA|FitFluential|WB3.0" target="_blank"><strong>What&#8217;s Beautiful</strong></a> is a challenge to all women to set a goal and take things to the next level. It&#8217;s about pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and taking yourself to a place you have never been before. You state your goal, put it out there for the whole world to see, and then go about achieving it in a BIG way &#8230; all while being supported by other women doing exactly the same thing!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Gymnast-with-Parent.png"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-2097" title="Gymnast with Parent" src="http://www.kristywilson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Gymnast-with-Parent-177x300.png" alt="" width="177" height="300" /></a>Each child&#8217;s activity has the potential to create that horrible parent that nobody wants to be involved in.  We all know the type, the parent who is sure their child is the best, and everybody else is simply dragging them down.  The parent who is always pushing their child to go further, faster, quicker, and be overall better than everyone.  The parent who is always the first to every meet even if their child is still tired.  That same parent is usually also the first person to talk badly about those who arrive just right before it starts.</p>
<p>This person is who most parents really do not want to become, yet without a conscious effort to avoid this it is relatively easy to slide into this role.  You can go from being a popular parent with the other parents to being the number one person to avoid quite quickly and that is never a good idea.  However, with these suggestions it is possible to keep your head firmly squared on your shoulders and cheer your child on.</p>
<p><strong>Avoid comparing your child to every other child in the gym</strong>.  This is important regardless of whether your think your child is better than everyone else, or everyone else is better than your child.  Rather than focus on how your child compares to everyone else instead focus on how they compare to <em>themselves</em> and what accomplishments they are making on their own.</p>
<p><strong>Do not start telling your child that winning is very important</strong>.  Gymnastics should be fun and entertaining for your child first above anything else.  A child who loses sight of how much fun it is will start to burn out quickly.  Burnout can cost a talented gymnast a complete career, so avoid this problem, and emphasize fun over victories.</p>
<p><strong>Avoid acting as if the scores from the judge&#8217;s are an accurate reflection of your child&#8217;s self worth</strong>.  There are many parents who come to associate the score from the judge with their own level of satisfaction with their child. It&#8217;s true!  This means on days when the child needs extra attention from their parents after a bad routine the parent could not careless because they received a bad score.  Yet the same parent is the child&#8217;s personal cheerleading squad when they do well.  Avoid letting this become you, give your child attention regardless of whether they did well or not.</p>
<p><strong>Do not ever scream at the judges or coach during a meet and tell them they are wrong</strong>.  No matter how many days you have been a self-proclaimed professional parent you do not have the knowledge and experience that the coaches and judges do.  Let them do their job and you do yours by supporting your child!</p>
<p><strong>Avoid creating goals and expectations for your child that are completely unreasonable</strong>.  This means, for example, if your child has never participated in gymnastics before do not expect them to become a professional quality athlete in just a few short months.  Keep your expectations realistic and your child will do much better.</p>
<p><strong>Do not ever make your child feel guilty for the money you are spend on their gymnastics activities</strong>.  While everyone knows that gymnastics is not exactly cheap, you should never make your child feel bad about it.  One example of why this is a no no is telling your child that for the $1,000 a month you spend on their gymnastics you expect better results and effort from them.  While you may have the best of intentions with the comment, it is very damaging to your overall relationship with your child.</p>
<p><strong>Never pretend you can be your child&#8217;s own coach</strong>.  <em>Many</em> parents make this mistake after their child has participated in gymnastics for a while.  They become under the impression that they are much smarter than all of the coaches and are convinced that they know exactly what their child needs.  There is a reason that gymnastics coaches are professionals, they have training and experience that you as a parent do not (unless you have been a high level gymnast or taken a national coaching course yourself).</p>

(This only takes about six pulses!) Steam in microwave in a covered container (don&#8217;t add water) for 2 minutes, or sautee in oil over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The following 3 habits will result in weight gain faster than you can say &#8216;anti-fitness habits.&#8217; Break these habits quickly.</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Drinking Calories.</strong> Soda pop, coffee drinks, smoothies and fruit juices are filled with calories. Since liquids won&#8217;t give you a &#8216;full&#8217; feeling, these drinks slide by without notice of how many extra calories you&#8217;re getting. Stick with water to avoid extra calories.</li>
<li><strong>Not Exercising. </strong>Skipping the gym day after day, week after week, and month after month will lead to muscle loss and a reduced metabolism. Exercise 3-5 days per week to keep your muscles strong and metabolism high.</li>
<li><strong>Eating a Heavy Dinner.</strong> Eating a large heavy dinner sets you up for weight gain. Instead of eating the majority of your calories late in the day, spread it out over the entire day.</li>
