I did the SUGAR CLEANSE about 1 1/2 years ago. I was a sugar addict and needed a healthy way out. My main reason for doing it was for inflammation, not weight loss. A natural side effect was a loss of 9 lb. and 1″ of belly fat in the 5 days. People have their own reasons for doing it.
